Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: "Boys' and Men's Vests and Ties" The vest pattern has front variations.
Pattern Sizing:
Boys S-L and Men's S-XL. I made the vest in a small men's size.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I wasn't wow'd by anything in particular about this pattern, but also was not disappointed with any aspect of the pattern.
Fabric Used:
I used 100% British wool for the front and back and 100% polyester lining.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did have to take it in in the upper centre back. The person I made the vest for was quite thin.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I wouldn't discourage anyone from using the pattern. I don't know if I would use it again. I do have another request for a vest for someone slimmer than the person I made this one for. A size small men's is way too large for this person but yet they are quite tall and bigger than an boys large.
