| Pattern Description: Girl's Bubble Skirt
Pattern Sizing: Girls - size 3-9
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It turned out to be very simple - only 3 pieces of fabric to put together!
Fabric Used: 1st - unknown content (probably polyester blend) rib knit with a cotton broadcloth lining. 2nd- Cotton eyelet with sparkles and cotton broadcloth lining. 3rd, Quilting weight cotton with sparkles, cotton broadcloth lining.
I made these three bubble skirts for my daughter and two nieces. The first one is a knit - it was a total experiment and the first draft of the pattern. I was not happy with the construction, next I made the blue sparkly cotton one - it turned out well, but I still hadn't perfected the centre back seam until the third skirt. I also added box pleats instead of gathering the third one. In the end - I have a very usable pattern that can be made in almost any size and I would recommend to and/or share with anyone!
