|Pattern Description: |
In French. Simple pants pattern for babies from the book Reve de bebe from the French store La Droguerie.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, with tapered legs
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. I did have to translate the instructions, but they are very short instructions. The illustrations are a little difficult to understand.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Very easy pattern that I have used several times.
Rayon knit purchased from local fabric store.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I tapered the legs to make the pants look like tights and made it out of knit fabric instead of woven in which they were intended. I also used a serger for the seams and the elastic waistband.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes and yes
This pattern has been used many times and have saved me from buying many pants for my son. Easy gift for boys and girls.
