Pattern Description:
Simple wrap around skirt!

Pattern Sizing:
Free sizing - add as many panels as you need.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It looked like what I imagined it would. Since this was self drafted, there was not photo, drawing or instructions to follows. Besides, it was so easy, none are required!

Fabric Used:
I used an Indian Sari, with the green cut from the bulk of the sari, the pink ties cut from what should be used for the under-blouse & the gold trim cut from the edge of the sari.

I cut several panels & stitched these together until there was enough "skirt" to wrap around my hips as desired. I then cut strips of the pink & made up the ties long enough to wrap around once (can tie at the back or wrap further to tie in front), cut the gold trim & attached to the bottom of the skirt. You do have to shape the bottom of the skirt slightly though.
You can adjust the length & fullness of the panels as you require.

I would recommend this skirt to anyone that can sew..beginner or not. It was so terribly easy to put together & its such an easy garment to wear. I wear this to the beach with sandals, cozzie under & a tee or a strapless white tube top or I wear it layered on top of some other wrap skirts.
