Pattern Description:
MISSES’/MISSES’ PETITE JACKET AND DRESS: Above hip length jacket has two-piece raglan three-quarter length sleeve, collar and back pleat with bow, front button opening. Sleeveless, straight dress has back zipper and slit.
Pattern Sizing:
AA(6-8-10-12), EE(14-16-18-20)
Dress: I cut a size 18, and then modified the top by bringing it in at the sides for fit.
Jacket: I cut the 18.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy vogue, true to the name!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the simple sheath design, nice and professional for work. It is not lined, but has facings around the collar and armscyes.
Fabric Used:
Pendleton wool challis (blues/greens plaid from Gorgeousfabrics.com)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added length, a little less on top (in this case 2" instead of my usual 3") and the usual 3" for the skirt. Also, with this pattern I determined that, right now, I need to grade to the smaller size (in this case 16) for underarm, bust, and waist measurements when I am cutting Vogue patterns.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. Probably not in plaid again...for now. 
Conclusion:
A smart-looking dress that goes nicely to work. I made it in one day, cutting and sewing whilst shut in to my apartment during Hurricane Sandy. During winter I put navy tights underneath it, and pair with a blue blazer. For warmer weather bare legs and some flats go quite nicely.
Although I cut and sewed most of the jacket, I have yet to do all the finishing. Sliptstiching the neck, hemming, and doing buttons is all that is left. But I decided not to continue at this point. Reason being, the plaid does not match up perfectly on the raglan sleeves. It just was not possible (for me at least).
I'm also not sure I would wear the two together (a bit matchy matchy) although I think I could enjoy the plaid coat with red pants...
