Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes; very, very easy to follow. I really didn't need to read them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I have been looking into similar style dresses at department stores for upwards of $400.00 and knew I could make one fast, inexpensively and easily from this pattern. Inspiration Photo 1 Inspiration Photo 2
I have made this pattern three times now and really have been happy with the outcome each time.
Fabric Used:Sequinned special occasion fabric from Fabric Depot and China silk for the lining.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I fully lined this dress as the sequins are scratchy against the skin and the fabric is sheer, and lengthed a few inches and sewed up the side slits to make into a dress.
I may go back and take in the skirt part a bit as it is a little large, but Holiday treats and goodies have put on a few pounds over the last couple of weeks of 2012 and I needed the wiggle room LOL.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, I would make this again as I have already made it 3 times, and I highly recommend it to others as a fast and easy tunic.
Conclusion: I love this pattern!
