Pattern Description:
Dress with faced, shaped neckline. Suitable for jersey only, no closure required

Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, clear instructions
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love working with double knit, it doesn't fray, it doesn't stretch, it hides a multitude of sins and it's comfortable to wear. This pattern is very versatile, you can mix and match easily. I didn't bother to finish any seams as this fabric stays put.
The notched neckline is easy to do and quite unusual.
Fabric Used:
Double knit jersey purchased from Calico Laine in the UK (available online)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No alterations. I used a spotted polyester silk for the neck facing and made bias binding from the same fabric to finish the armholes. I also topstitched around the neckline and armholes using ordinary brown cotton, but double threaded the needle.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I use this pattern constantly. I have made the skirt and trousers a couple of times already.
Conclusion:
A dress I will get a lot of wear out, particularly as it is easy to pull a cardigan over the top.
