Pattern Description:
A tunic style mini dress with short sleeves, scoop neck , patch pockets & front tucks. Pattern Sizing:
6-16 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No, not really as I didn't have enough fabric to do all of the tucks in the front. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Japanese pattern book instructions are excellent with great diagrams! What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I though it was too boxy so I added shirring to the back to cinch it in a little. Fabric Used:
A linen I bought in Tokyo Japan at the famed Tomato fabric store. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't make any. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
There are a few more styles from the book I would lke to try. Conclusion:
Honestly, I like these patterns but I don't think they are flattering for most people. But if you are relatively slender they should work. They are quite boxy otherwise. Blogged here
