Pattern Description:
The back of the envelope just says it's a skirt. I used view B which starts off straight and flares toward the edge. Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized--available from 6-22, but split between smaller/larger sizes. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, though, I've made this one in the past, so didn't need to refer to them often. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like how easily this one goes together, and the overall shape of the skirt. Fabric Used:
narrow-wale corduroy. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't alter it, but maybe I should for the next one. The skirt front/back are the same piece, and the side fronts/side backs are all alike too. Since I'm curvier in back than in front, I think the next one I make I'll make the back pieces a size larger and the front a size smaller. On someone with a more even distribution of curves, they probably wouldn't need to do this. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I love this skirt pattern, so I'm planning to make at least one more of the same view, then try out the other more full skirted view too. Conclusion:
Great pattern and easy to put together. Works for a variety of fabrics and with no darts or pleats, it's a quick make too.
