Pattern Description: knit dress with surplice bodice sizes 30-50 inches
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I think it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the efforts Steph of Cake Patterns had gone to to make the sizing work for a bigger range of people and to make altering the fit easy.
Fabric Used: polyester knit. Which sounds awful but I think it is quite nice as far as polyester knits go.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made changes to enlarge bust. I've written about this in longer detail on my blog review, which you can read here: initial Tiramisu dress review
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes. I have plans, again outlined in my blog post, for how I would make changes to get a better fit for my smallish shoulders and large bust, and I hope to make another one this month.
Conclusion: What a great start from a new pattern maker. It's a flattering dress and easily made.
