Pattern Description:
Easy 1 hour cardigan in 3 lengths.
Pattern Sizing:
L-XXL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, with alterations. I made Version C initially.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Super easy. 2 pieces - you cant go wrong.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the casualness of this cardi.
Fabric Used:
A brown cotton knit with gold thread detail found at a fabric store in Holland.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added a 30cm "collar" to mine to give some extra fabric that could be scrunched for extra warmth or tossed over the shoulder as a pashmina?wrap style.
I also cut down the draped ends to be more of the Version B length....they were just too long & bulky for me.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would sew this again, perhaps with a different (no so stretchy) knit fabric.
Conclusion:
a great starter/beginner pattern.
