Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? The sewing instructions were easy and clear. The fitting instructions involved taping and pinning the tissue to my body (leotard or bra or slip straps) and altering. I never got the hang of it though I did make alterations this way.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like this style of top.
The pattern pieces are really large and very long making it difficult for me to judge the outcome of the final product.
However, the top is a quick sewing project.
Fabric Used: spandex
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I tried to shorten the bodice. Luckily, the gathered sides do not demand a precise lengthwise fit through the bodice. This is the second time I've made the pattern. The first top was really large so I cut a size smaller this time. It helped but the top still seems a little big.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This top would work well for someone who is fairly tall. It's easy to sew but the pattern was not designed for 5'2" me.
Conclusion: My fabric choice and pattern worked well together. I ended up with a cute top, but as I said above - after making it twice I believe the pattern would work better on a different body type.

It's really cute and looks great on you. I guess it's the magic of photos because it doesn't look big on you at all!

It looks great! But we have the picture, you have the blouse. I like the neckline, and as you note, it looks pretty good under a sweater.

Very pretty. Looks good on you. I have this pattern after looking at your review, I can’t decide if I need to do FBA alterations or just make it larger. Thanks for the review. Looks very expensive, as always.

Looks very good on you in the photo. Especially love the look with the sweater. Very scarf-ish.
