Pattern Sizing:Some wierd Tween sizing that I think would fit most women. I cut a size 7/8, the second smallest size
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This pattern is not designed for jersey fabrics and has some ties that do up at the back to pull the dress in. I hate ties at the back so made some alterations (see below)
Fabric Used:cotton jersey
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used a cotton Jersey with a one way stretch, and did not want and ties at the back on the dress (I find them impractical and hate the way they dig into your back when you sit down). To compensate for this I cut the front and back pieces alot smaller than the pattern pieces. It was all a bit of guesstimation though - I don't have the exact measurements. I also added a ruffle to the bottom as it was way too short.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I have made this before and loved it than, and I am sure I will make it again. I would recommend this pattern to anyone, but I think it is now out of print, which is no big deal if you live in America, but if you live in a place like Australia, it can be tricky to get out of print patterns shipped.
