Pattern Description: Very loose fitting, pullover dress. I made view A, which is a basic shirt dress and tie belt.
Pattern Sizing: This is available in sizes 8-24. I made my typical 1 size smaller than the envelope recommends.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I think so. I've made many button-up shirts so had no problem with this dress. I think an advanced beginner could do this without problems though.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I just thought this dress looked very easy to wear, yet stylish and flattering. The shirt dress is a classic that will never go out of style. I think it's a great pattern to show off a large scale print too.
No dislikes.
Fabric Used: I used polyester crepe de chine from Gorgeous Fabrics. I had the small buttons in my stash.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened the length by about 2 inches.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Hmm... I may sew this one again should I stumble across another fabric that inspires me to do so. I do recommend it.
Conclusion: This was comfortable and easy to wear. Great with a pair of tights in the cooler months.
Fantastic looking dress on you!
