Pattern Sizing:
XS-L. I made a size small Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Great. I highly recommend this pattern for beginners as it is part of a book aimed at getting people started in sewing, therefore, the instructions are really clear.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The A line style is very flattering for most figures. I love Boden clothes and they make a few A line skirts every season as they are perfect for the smart/casual look.
Fabric Used:A fine baby cord with embroidered and sequinned embellished hem. I bought this as a skirt length for only £6 from Leon's Fabrics in Chorlton, Manchester
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None, as this design is super easy to fit just on the side seams.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, I will be making some spring versions of this
Conclusion: A great pattern to be embellished/ adapted. I am also thinking of adding a centre pleat to a spring version of this.

I wanted to make a skirt from a border print fabric, but I thought I could only make a straight skirt because I noticed that the hem line is curved toward the side seam for skirts that flare out. I wish you could tell me the length of your hemline :) 1/17/13 1:05 PM
