Pattern Description:
Dress with princess seams and full skirt.

Pattern Sizing:
I forget - I made a size 14, and combined the body of A with the sleeves of B

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, incredibly so. It was also really easy to cut out and piece together.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This is a simple, well-designed, and incredibly flattering pattern that lends itself well to all kinds of modifications - good thing because that's what I needed it to do!

Fabric Used:
Blizzard fleece from Joann's

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I bought this pattern because I was really cold one day, and decided I wanted to try making a dress out of fleece so that I could wear a nice blanket to the office, basically. I couldn't find any suggestions for how to do this, so I decided to look for a simple but really flattering pattern to use to experiment - this one fit the bill! For my version, I decided to skip the lining, and instead I bound the neckline with bias tape. Also, I did simple turned-up hems for the skirt and sleeves, as fleece doesn't fray and I was worried about getting it through my machine. And instead of an invisible zipper, I used a universal one to accommodate the thicker fabric. Result: a much more flattering Snuggie!

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes - since this is so easy and flattering, I want to try it out again with less demented fabric.

Conclusion:
I can't say enough good things about this pattern!

I doubt I would have ever thought of making a dress in fleece! Your color choice is lovely, it can be so grey and depressing in winter, and your dress is like sunshine!
