Pattern Description: sewing kit with pincushion, optional needle pad, and zipped pouch. Pattern by Straight Stitch Society.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very. Plus they are written in a very casual fun tone.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The pattern is cute and the instructions are good.
Fabric Used: Quilting Cotton Scraps, Fusible Batting
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The pattern calls for regular batting, but I used fusible as it was what I had on hand.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I already have another cut out. It is very cute. I will probably also sew up the orange kit.
Conclusion: I think this is a sweet craft, a great use for those quilting scraps. Next time I make I will add a bit more fusible battling to the pouch side of the kit, as that side is a bit limp compared to the pincushion side.
