This is not a new 'make', I actually made my wedding dress way before blogging was even a passing thought in my (or many other peoples') consciousness. In September 2005 in fact. However, as we are getting ready to sell our house, I came across my dress whilst packing and thought it would be fun to comment on it as it was an interesting and fun make.
Pattern Description: My Wedding Dress! Three wedding dress designs in a 1920's/30's style with dropped waists, uneven hemlines, sleeve variations and opportunity to embellish!!
Pattern Sizing: 16
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Even better!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Simple pattern pieces that make a reat dress that can be embellished to your own tastes.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 1" to each side seam. That was it!!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? It was my wedding dress, so I only needed to make it once, but it is a lovely dress and would be perfect for a summer garden party if made in another color/fabric.
Conclusion: A gorgeous dress - I felt like a princess on my big day! Lots more pictures and details on my blog.

I also used an Alicyn Exclusives pattern for my wedding (in 2003) and was very happy with it - I wonder what happened to that designer. And of course, your wedding photo with the mountains is spectacular. 1/20/13 5:17 AM
