|Pattern Description: 2 hour robe. I got this pattern second hand on NZ Trademe (like Ebay) and it is OOP but you might be lucky and get it online under vintage patterns.|
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Very easy and since I used voile, the material behaved itself unlike satin which can be as slippery as an eel.
Voile in a lovely garden print with a satin ribbon for the belt.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I chose to do french seams which made it nice and professional looking when it is hung up on the bathroom hook. Next time I would likely make it just below the knees. I like to wear the sleeves rolled up so the sleeves could easily be shortened for a summer robe.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes definitely. It was very easy and I do like going out in the garden in the mornings in the summer to have my cuppa and to water the garden; so it's a perfect weight fabric.
