Edited 01.24.13: I added a couple 'on me' shots for reference. I wore this today and OMG I love it!
Pattern Description: Very loose-fitting with dropped shoulders; collar variations. I made view C
Pattern Sizing: Y (xs, s, m) ZZ (l, xl, xxl) I made the Small
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I believe so
Were the instructions easy to follow? Super easy; it's an Easy-rated pattern
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the loose, easy style and simple construction. It has some top-stitching detail and the collar version I chose (C) has a large collar; great for popping up. No dislikes.
Fabric Used: This is one of those fabrics I wish I had a ton of - nice quality wool, medium weight, super great to work with. It's a black/taupe houndstooth pattern. I've had this in my stash for 3 years. It was originally purchased to use for a coat but I changed my mind. I have enough left to make a beret-style hat.
Interfacing used was Palmer/Pletsch Medium in black.
Thread used was So Fine from Superior Threads.
Buttons were from my stash.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did not want seams across the bottom half so I cut the fronts and back as single pieces instead of 2 top fronts, 2 bottom fronts, 1 top back, and 1 bottom back. I just taped the pattern pieces together.
I added stabilizer to the shoulders measuring out 6 inches from the neck seam. I did 5 regular buttons and holes instead of the 3 groups of 3 buttons.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would sew this again and I would recommend it.
Conclusion: This would be nice in a soft flowy fabric for the warmer months. My plan is to wear this over a turtleneck.
For beginners - if you have trouble edgestitching you can use tissue paper to help your feed dogs grab. You sew as usual with a piece of tissue paper extending beyond your fabric, and then just tear the paper off when done. Helpful pics: edgestitch helper, tear off, edgestitch done.

Really cute top...love the collar. Thanks for the tip on the tissue paper...hadn't seen that technique!

This top looks great in the hounds tooth fabric! I haven't come across the tissue paper trick either, it would have been helpful on the collar of my recent Jalie shirt... will keep it in mind for next time :) thanks.

A highly distinctive shirt. It looks really good, and this seems to be a promising pattern.
