Pattern Description: Knit top with french darts, neck band, centre back seams, hem band, slight bell sleeves and neckline dipping to a 'v' at the back
Pattern Sizing:36-44; I made a 44
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, but the fabric obscures the seaming detail
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes (surprisingly) for Burda!!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love the fact this is a sophisticated t-shirt. It's slightly fitted but the dart details and back neckline set this apart.
Fabric Used:A wonderful sequin sweater knit made by Telio from my local Fabricland.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I lengthened the sleeves and body by about 1". I omitted the hem band. I took in the sides and CB seam when I tried it on as I wanted a more fitted look. Construction details on how I treated this sequinned fabric are on my blog:
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is a gorgeous, easy to sew pattern. I can definitely see it made up in a plain fabric that will show of the design detail. I think it's very Calvin Klein in it's styling! Conclusion: Go and sew this pattern right now!!!

I also happened to have some sequinned knit I was nervous about using for something else so you have helped in a couple ways. Thanks again for your review and great top! 1/24/13 9:41 AM
