Pattern Description: basic tee shirt pattern with 3 sleeve length options and a v neck
Pattern Sizing:xxs through xl I tried a M which should have worked with my bust measurement but it was way too tight. The large fits well but according to the size chart it should have been too big.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Now that I have the size worked out yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?yes, its part of a craftsy class and they are very detailed
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I've been looking for a basic tee pattern that fits me well. I really liked her instructions for sewing the neck line as well. I wish that there had been less negative ease in the pattern though so I wouldn't have had to size up.
Fabric Used:Some really bulky cotton lycra rib knit from my stash and a print jersey knit also from my stash.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length at the waist and the bottom.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Now that I've got it fitting I'm sure to make more. I would recommend it and the class just with a warning that at least for me I'm needing to size up in most things and yes I have taken my measurements this week. Its hard to bc knits can be so different when it comes to fit.
Conclusion: I've enjoyed the sewing with knits class and am glad to have a tee shirt pattern that works for my arms and chest. If you want to see and read more check out my blog.
