The fabric I used was slippery and stretchy so very difficult to work with, but this still turned out to make a beautiful dress. The pattern was easy to follow and it turned out exactly as I expected and hoped. I will definitely make it again but with less annoying material!

Modifications I made: I reversed the pattern so that the zip (and pleats) were down my right side, just out of personal preference. Other than that, I essentially made pattern B, except I left out the strap, and pinned the corsage in my hair!

Pattern adjustments: I found the sizing unusual - I needed a size 10 on the bust but a 12/14 on the waist and hips. Normally it's the other way round, ie. I normally cut a 10/12 on waist and hips and have to make a full bust adjustment. I'm petite so I shortened the skirt and narrowed the back a little as usual, but the dimensions were otherwise great for me.
