b>Pattern Description:
A blouse with no side seams, integrated sleeves and cut on the bias. Cowl effect at centre back, closures of your choice at the front.
The Centre for Pattern Design is not in the PR database but this is one of their patterns. It is commercial and not free! But well worth the price.
Pattern Sizing:
10-16 I cut the 14, but you might need a bit of alteration for sleeve length and width.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, but the picture on the envelope was waay better than my efforts! Something to aspire to....
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Rather scant to be honest and the pattern suggests intermediate to advanced sewing level. However, this is a one piece pattern, so how much can go wrong?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Oh, I loved the simplicity but uniqueness: the clever design and of course the finished garment.
Fabric Used:
First I used a chiffon - hateful fabric! Then I made it again in a poly satin and then again in cotton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
You can add any neckline finish you wish using this pattern - first time I cut as the pattern - a round neck. Then I added a tie neck and finally a collar. Length and width I left as per the pattern
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I've already sewn three blouses and I'm not done yet. I would highly recommend this pattern, even for beginners.
Conclusion:
A clever design: unique blouse inspired by Christobel Balenciaga and made accessible to home sewers via the Centre the Pattern Design. Really, try it! A one piece pattern that can be adapted in so many ways and suits many different fabrics.

I'm going to need a job to pay for all the new patterns that I want from this interesting website... Then when will I sew? Lucky for me I'm in UK the week before my birthday, maybe the birthday fairy will whisper in DH's ear? I love all your blouses and can't wait to see other patterns made up.
