Pattern Description:
A dolman sleeved knit dress with four pleats on side.
Pattern Sizing:
From 6 to 30. I made a size 8.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
There are not many instructions, which I think would be helpful for beginners. But even with the minimum instructions this pattern contained, the sewing was easy and pretty intuitive, since the construction of the dress is easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the design. Also the pattern is pretty versatile and can be easily modified.
Fabric Used:
Very light knit jersey. In fact, this is my muslin.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I omitted the back seam.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
YES! A proper version will be made from more solid and heavier panel jersey knit.
Conclusion:
I can recommend this dress as a great wardrobe essential! Also if you make it from some fancier fabric, it can be an ideal evening dress. |

I've been debated about this one, this may push me over the edge. Look forward to seeing the final. Do you think the pleats will work in a heavier knit?

@mmcp Yes, I am sure it will look nice on a heavier knits too because the pleats on this dress are quite wide. I am going to cut the "final" pattern tonight :) Stay tuned!
