This was a wonderful pattern to work with. With 20 something pattern sizes I trace the size I need and I Still have the pattern to make her more as my daughter grows. I Also made a liner in these pants. I made the liner pink and 2 inches longer than the pants so when I attached it to the bottom of the legs I had a color strip at the bottom of each leg that matched great to the contrast color strip in the waist band. The stitching on the butt and back legs gives awesome definition. My 6 year old keeps looking at her bottom and she can't believe she has a booty lol. I would recommend this to anyone. I used the Jalie retired pattern (means you can print it strait off their site for a cheap fee) 2456 for the jacket. This made a great practice outfit. My daughter loves them. For the rhinestone applique I found pictures of rhinestone ice skating designs online. I printed them out. And made the designs my self. I have lots of glass hotfix crystals (much cheaper that swarovski) they sell a contact paper for making crystal designs. You tape it to the paper I printed out sticky side up. I place the stones upside over the design. Makes some BEAUTIFUL accents to these pants!
Cute!
