| Pattern Description: Renaissance skirted doublet, doublet and pants pattern.
Pattern Sizing: Regular sizing.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I did have to make a slight alteration and add a few more panels to the skirt for added fullness but it turned out beautifully and I was very pleased.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, in fact I did a slight glance over and did not use the pattern instructions to complete this project.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked how easily it went together but I will have to do some lengthening in the skirting next time.
Fabric Used: I used a cotton/velvet blend with gold threading.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added four panels to the skirting, the top part of the doublet was bigger than the standard 10 panels of skirting, so extra panels were added to balance it out. In the future I am going to shrink the doublet a bit for a tighter fit.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, and I plan on sewing it again very soon.
Conclusion: Great pattern, very easy to use and easy to alter. The fit was very good and didn't require too much tweaking.
