There are more than enough other reviews of these pants, I just wanted to give them my thumbs up and a few useful details!

I don't have a serger/overlocker, but I can whip up a pair of these pants from cutting to hemming and seam finishing in well under two hours. That alone is a good reason to make these

There are only three pattern pieces - pants front, back, and waistband. I suggest these to people who've never sewn pants before... there is nothing scary about sewing pants, but it's reassuring to have a quick and successful first project. Move on to pants with closures when you have some confidence!

They fit very well, and the elastic waist makes it feel like I'm wearing trackpants to work (in a good way). They work great in stretch bengaline, which is a flattering and heavy duty fabric. However, they'd be suitable for any stretch fabric with good recovery. Even a heavy weight ponte or fleece.

I have nothing but praise for this pattern - I've already got three pairs of these for work, and fabric ready for a fourth pair!
