Girls' stretch pants with a choice of waistline - V-waist or roll top waist. They have a slightly flared leg. THey are pictured here as shorts.
XS (4-5) to XL (12-14)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I really liked the style of them I have made them in both waistlines and lengths. My daughter wears them for dancing.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made them in a Small to match DDs hip measurement, but lengthened between the hip and waistline to adjust for her height. I have made them full length, capri length and as shorts.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely. Infact, she's just outgrown the set I made for her, so I'll be making a new set very soon.
This is a great, quick, easy pattern to make for an active girl.
Edited to add: new project in 2013. Size 10. My DD's measurements were pretty close to the pattern measurements this time round. Front view
These are in a poly crushed velvet with very little lengthwise stretch. Result: pants slightly too short needing a banded hem. I then altered the pattern and made a pair in a lovely purple velvet (no picture) which did have vertical stretch, and they would have been perfect if I hadn't lengthened the leg!
