Pattern Description: This is a pattern for a basic knit top, with sleeve length variations and options for a v-neck or cowl neck. I first made this pattern when I was just a few months old as a sewist and it came together relatively easy. I have now made it three times and it's just one of those great go-to patterns for a wonderful fitted top.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, though I also referenced the resources on sewing with knits that the designer posted onto her blog here.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It is perfectly drafted to my body, so it was nice not having to make any alterations. It's also the type of pattern that has a lot of opportunity to infuse creative design details.
Fabric Used: Moderate stretch jersey.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, absolutely. This is basically a stylish t-shirt, which I find some of the most comfortable and flattering top options.
Conclusion: Fantastic pattern! I have written more about the making of this top at my blog here.
