Pattern Description: Zippered Pouch/Wristlet

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it did!

Were the instructions easy to follow? It was easy to follow along with the video...plus there is written instructions you can download. This was a free course called "Bag Making Basics "...on craftsy.com.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The course instructor is Kristin Link...she is a great teacher. I followed her instructions on inserting the zipper...and I had no problems at all...zippers are something I avoided...lol. I also like that this is a lined bag!

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't make any changes.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? yes, I will sew this bag again and I do highly recommend this free class. In this free course...you learn how to make 4 different styles of bags! A reversible tote, zipper pouch, drawstring bag & a bucket bag!

Conclusion: I love watching the videos...it's a great way to learn ...especially if you don't have a class available in your town.

	Mufffet said... Isn't it fun to make these pouches? Once you get that zipper insertion down pat you won't need patterns at all - all sizes of pouches and bags are possible. Even I can make these, but my daughter actually taught me! ;) 1/31/13 9:56 AM
