Pattern Description: Loose fitting easy tunic
Pattern Sizing:
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Not really, but maybe that's because I made it in linen. The photo shows it looking rather crumpled, sorry. I'll try and post another pic when I've washed and ironed it.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very good and easy to follow but I didn't really understand the ease stitch part of the sleeve bit, maybe I cut out the wrong size sleeve and that's why I had to gather it. Ho hum. You live and learn.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The piping detail at the neck makes it look very professional. I love the pleats at the hem too. Looks less homemade than some patterns I've made. I didn't' add the bow detail as I'm rather top heavy and I don't need extra stuff going on around there.
Fabric Used: I used a lightweight linen but maybe next time I'll use something more drapey.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 6 inches to the length so it became a dress
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I would really like to sew this dress again in a drapey material
Conclusion: I hope it will become a Summer favourite - watch this space.....

Pretty dress, would love to see it on you!! How did you determine to add six inches to the hem?--I love clothes with pleat details at the hem but am not sure how to determine length without trying it on...then not much you can do to adjust the pleats.
