Pattern Description: Misses fitted tops have front darts, neckline variations, side slit openings and stitched hems.
Pattern Sizing: BB (8-10-12-14. I made the 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, but I made changes so didn't follow all of them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Easy to make, with few pattern pieces. Quick to sew together.
Fabric Used: A poly-silky-somthing-or-other from Joann's.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I inadvertantly made this in a woven. I didn't read the fabric suggestions stating that this is for knits. So with no neck band, I sewed the ruffle to the front, matching wrong side of front to right side of ruffle, and then turning it to the outside and topstitching.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would make it again if I had a yard of fabric and needed a quick project.
Conclusion: My top turned out even though making this in a woven. This is a nice pattern, and I am adding it to my list of patterns that take only 1 yard of fabric. We all need a few of those in our pattern collections.
