Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: "Very loose-fitting shirt with yoke, front tucks, extended shoulders, mock fly opening, full length contrast sleeves with cuffs and contrast gussets. Skirt has below waistline yoke, back invisible zipper closing, floor length."
Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized pattern AA (6, 8, 10, 12); E5 (14-16-18-20-22) I used a AA pattern and graded up to a size 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, until I chopped at the hemline.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were excellent. I was a little worried about installing the invisible zipper but the instructions were perfect at guiding me though the process even though the side seams and yoke were sewn before the zipper installation.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I LOVE the fit, it is a very comfortable skirt. I did not like the floor length on my body (I'm only five-foot-one). I shortened the skirt 2" just to see what it would look like and it wasn't flattering because I'm so short. I then chopped another six inches off the hemline and it is perfect.
Fabric Used:
I use a suiting weight polyester. It is quite heavy and it drapes well.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Graded up a size and shortened the skirt.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! I think I might need a linen version in my wardrobe this summer. I would highly recommend this skirt pattern.
Conclusion:
You can see pictures here. I haven't made the shirt yet. I think I would like to lengthen it and make it into a dress.

I have this pattern and am interested in your review. I can't wait to see the top made up! I am about your height so it'll be good to see someone similarly proportioned making this fascinating top.

I would like to make the shirt but I'm considering lengthening it into a dress. It does look like an interesting shirt pattern though.
