Pattern Description:
From the pattern maker "Boy's or girl's kimono-style pajama top sewing pattern features a band collar, on-seam sleeves, and full-front crossover wrap styling with ties at underarm. Elasticized pull-on children's pajama pant sewing pattern features one-piece legs (no side seams for extra comfort) and a bound hem at the leg openings."
Pattern Sizing:
I've made these eight times in different sizes. I find the 12m size fits long in the leg, but quite tight at the waist.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions are great and easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Easy!
This is a downloadable pattern. I find the way the pieces are assembled to be not very intuitive. Each piece is assembled separately. I would prefer that the 8x11 sheets all be attached together in a large sheet.
Fabric Used:
I used printed flannel with great results.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I hemmed the pants, instead of using bound hems. I used a very deep hem, so that I could lengthen the pants as my kids grew.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I've already made these eight times and will make them again.
Really cute pj's for a boy. Really cute that you put the motif from the pant fabric on the shirt.
