I had a request to make 18-inch doll outfit to match child’s outfit. I used McCall’s 5775 top C to match a little girl’s outfit. Check out blog pictures of outfit. I added yo yo's to this patterns top. I did not sew facing for yoke. I just used one of each of the yokes, turn top of neck down, and hemmed edge of neckline. Since the material was polyester, I felt only one layer would work and it did. I think it almost matches the child’s outfit. I am new to sewing and this is my first custom outfit that I made. Thanks for viewing.
