Pattern Description: Loose-fitting blouses have neck/front bands, yoke and front sleeve (cut on crosswise grain of fabric), no shoulder seams, back pleats and narrow hem. A: pleated pockets with button flaps and short sleeves rolled-up (wrongside shows) with button tab. B: bias collar extends into tie ends and sleeves gathered into button cuffs with seam opening.
Pattern Sizing:AX5(4-6-8-10-12), DD(12-14-16-18), I made a 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The bow and interested sleeve
Fabric Used: very light, flawy 100% cotton from the sale table at Fabric Mart. I think I paid <$5/yd for this.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I plan on making the other variation of this top
Conclusion: We just returned from St John and this would probably have been the only shirt I needed. I love the fabric and it was perfect for this pattern. The sleeves are interesting, but you can't really see it on this print. Rather than set in, they have a neat squared off seamline. If you're looking for a nice summer shirt pattern this one is great.
