Pattern Description: Misses' skirts sewing pattern by Cynthia Rowley.
Pattern Sizing: 4-20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I made version B (which is probably the most commonly-made skirt in this popular pattern).
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes but the bias binding around the front waistband was quite confusing.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the style of the skirt, especially the ties on the waist.
Fabric Used: Cotton twill
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I don't know if I would sew this same version again because it's so unique that I would really only want one in my wardrobe. But I plan to make Version C and D. They are more simple and would make nice wardrobe builders.
Conclusion: This is a great pattern, even though the bias-binding is a bit of a pain. If I were to make it again, I might just omit the bias around the waistband. I do love the skirt; it's very comfortable, and looks very fashion-forward (at least in my small town it does!)
Very pretty skirt!

Very nice. Your version is much prettier than the pattern photo.
