Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, but shortened for a top.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the draped neckline and have worn this top a lot since sewing it in May 2012. It layers well with a close-fitting cami underneath for modesty and a cardigan or blazer over it.
Fabric Used:
Purple rayon lycra 4-way stretch knit purchased a couple of years ago from the local shop Homespun.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
To make this top, I shorted the pattern front at the top of the side darts, and shortened the back at a corresponding length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Maybe I would sew this again, though I have so many other patterns to try.
Conclusion:
I prefer the top version of this pattern, as I found the side darts to be too much trouble when I made this as a dress in 2012.
