Pattern Description: Girls tiered dress or top with an insert that can be smocked and shorts

Pattern Sizing:sizes 2 to 8. I made the top in a size 5 for my niece who is 5.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?Mostly, but the pattern piece that says front side and back side was a little confusing. I finally realized that the back is the whole piece including the part labeled front, and that the front has a cutting line near the middle of the pattern piece.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like the square neckline and the tiers.

Fabric Used:Cotton with laminated butterflies

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I chose to use a plain insert instead of a smocked one and to pipe around the edges of the insert. I also added a pre-gathered bottom ruffle.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I would sew it again and do recommend it.

Conclusion: The top turned out nicely. I think my nice will like it.
