This is a cute little romper that has shorts or pants options. It ties around the neck, which isn't suitable for littler girls who will need help to go to the potty.
I made this pattern in a size 8.
This project looked exactly like the photo on the front of the pattern. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. If you can make an elastic casing, you won't have any problems.
The length of the shorts is just right. They aren't too short, so my kid looks modest. But the aren't too long and baggy where it looks dorky. The fit is very true to the size chart provided.
I used quilters cotton in a leapord print, with a solid brown fabric for contrast. I added a faux button placket to add some visual interest in front. The back pockets have a bow which is cute. I think the pockets sit a bit high, and too close together. I think next time I'll make regular side seam pockets.
I have more photos and a full review on my blog. Please visit!
