It is a pretty, classic styling. You have toned upper arms that help show the dress to advantage. I wonder what type of sleeves (besides 3/4) some of us not-so-lean-in the-upper-arm types might add...

I really like your dress. The lines are so clean and elegant, and your fabric is lovely. I had never noticed this pattern before. Your arms look great, by the way.

Never would have looked twice at this pattern based on Vogue's illustration, but your finished dress is amazing. I love the crisp but floaty looking linen and the decidedly retro and glamorous lines. Excellent choice making it sleeveless. In that you're going to be one of those "always perfectly polished" women whom I desperately envy.

Gosh, this looks like such a 'nothing' dress on the pattern envelope. It looks so very stylish on you Irina. Reminds me of an advertising poster/ movie promo from the 50's/60's - the star was wearing a similar silhouette dress in white with very large sunglasses and a scarf on her very dark hair - can't remember the star though, Sophia Loren maybe? Your dress is lovely.

I never would have looked twice at this pattern while flipping through the pattern book, but when I see your beautiful dress on you, it's stunning! Irina: this is gorgeous. Like the others, I would never have looked at this pattern twice. Is your sash wider than the one shown on the cover of pattern? Also, I can't tell, but did you knot the sash, or is it looped through some cool ring? Your spring wardrobe is going to be the envy of everyone in your town/city!!!

Harriet -- my sash is made exactly to the pattern. I tied it once, but didn't knot it for the picture. It probably looks bigger because the fabric is rather crisp so the sash doesn't really drape when I put it on.
