Sounds really good! I can't see your picture, though. I could really use a hands-free bag myself, so thanks for the recommendation.

I can't see your picture either! Good review. I like your "spatially challenged" comment. Too cute!!!

Finally--by pasting the link directly in the review, I was able to get the picture in. I still don't know why I couldn't get the "normal" method to work though. I can't find on "your page" where to change the option so that I do receive notice of comments. Can anyone tell me? In case it isn't obvious (LOL), this IS my first review.

Thank you for the great review. Your purse looks great! Are you able to get boarding passes and passports in it ? Wondering what the finished size is? It would be good if you can put the whole families travel documents in it. Thanks Marie for the information on the size, I hope to try this pattern, the review was great.

PattyGee, it's about 10 1/2 inches deep by 8 1/2 inches wide. I use one of those around-the-neck boarding pass holders in the airport, but it does then fit into the bag when I have finished with it. If/when I make this again I'll make it a little bigger and add inside pockets. Not too much larger though, as that would spoil the way it sits so nicely on my hip.

I use a fanny pack when I travel, but sometimes thing this style might be easier. Thanks for the review of the pattern.

Great looking bag! I have this pattern and have been meaning to make it for ages-maybe I'll finally get to it!

I've been thinking of trying to make a body bag lately. I'm glad you reviewed this pattern. It helped me to decide to add it to my list of sewing things to do. (it's short...only 20 items.)
