I wouldn't have expected this in denim, but it looks really nice. The ruching is so pretty.

Minieme, glad you are back into some sewing. Your skirt is fabulous, the fabric suits the style too .... just perfect for our summer with no lining. I have this pattern and now might dust it off and try it out too. Thanks for a great review and lots of photos :)

Nice skirt. I've had my eye on this pattern but I never would have thought to sew it in denim.

Love your skirt, the fabric and style - just so great. I have not seen a skirt with ruching like this, it looks so good.

Your version is much more appealing than the pattern's--looks great! Nice touch with denim, the stiffer ruching (and the embroidered flowers) make this skirt a standout.
