Boy, you should be proud of yourself! I am proud of you for such a well thought out pattern and construction process. The jacket turned out stunning and I am sure your mom will not be the only one blown away. Great review and you are spurring the rest of us "collectors" on to more imaginative projects.

Wow! This is really an awesome looking jacket with the patchwork effect. The patchwork looks very professional--color tones go well together, and your measurements look accurate with the patchwork. Very nice!

Okay, you just officially went up to intermediate. Anyone who can make a jacket that pretty HAS to be intermediate. Gorgeous! And a lot of pattern fine-tuning involved.

Well, I am also taken with what a beautiful jacket you have made. Have you considered reviewing the book you used for ideas on piecing the fabric? I have a feeling that a review of the book and a photo of your jacket would cause Amazon to be flooded with orders!

I LOVE this jacket! I think you did a fantastic job, and it is very ambitious for a first attempt at jackets. It will always be unique and I think should become a legacy garment. Don't ever throw it away. What is the back like?
