This is a great idea. I've made flannel blankets as gifts for my girlfriends w/ babies, too, but I like this even better, with the double weight and the binding. Plus, you can make them any size you want to (as in bigger than the little dinky blankets you see for sale sometimes). Great job! You're giving me ideas. :o) blankets that you see for sale are so dinky
