This is the pattern on which I taught myself to sew - when the pattern was new! I got into it and made over 20 "kimonos" for myself and others. It's a great beginner's project, because chances are you won't be seen in public wearing it. (I hope not...) Great review, handsome fabric and very smart modifications to the pattern.
