Thanks so much, everyone! Yes, I think a robe would be a good gift -- not as much fitting involved, and you don't have to worry about whether it is a style the recipient would want to wear in public. :)

Interesting collar, and great use of recycled fabric! This sounds like it would be a great pattern to use to make a gift.
