yes, the proportions are different for a woman or a child, so you intuition was spot on to adjust the armholes. awesome job - excellent fit for those two very different body shapes!

The girls look so happy! For those of us who have worn bridesmaid and flower dresses that are, let's say, less than ideal it is such a treat to imagine getting such wonderful custom-made dresses instead!

The color and style are gorgeous! The dresses are almost identical to a vintage bridesmaid dress that I grabbed at a thriftstore for myself and modified into a tunic... timeless! Your models look like they are going to have lots of fun in their dresses at the wedding, and perhaps, if they're lucky, playing dress-up afterwards!!!

Your dress design is much superior to the inspiration garment from which you worked. You got a perfect fit and your techniques really paid off in a pristine example of what a flowergirl's dress should look like. Love the green ribbon, too. These are just beautiful. -Lily
