Brilliant idea! I may do the same with a denim jumper I made last year that just doesn't work for me. I also find myself searching for my supplies while I'm sewing -- an apron like this would be perfect.

It's great to see your idea realized as an actual sewing apron. And it's absolutely astonishing that you ran into a woman who read about your idea on PR and made a sewing apron of her own.
